Smoked Mackerel Pate
Gleaming blue and silver mackerel line-caught by us in Sannox Bay and smoked over charcoal and oak chips before being blended with cream-cheese, dry-fried streaky bacon, horseradish puree, lemon juice and parsley from the Darven garden. Served with Arran oatcakes, rocket and cherry tomatoes - drizzled with balsamic vinegar of Modena.
Beef and Arran ale casserole
Thick cut slices or organic island beef supplied by HB McKinnon, traditional butcher, Lochranza. Slowly braised in Arran Ale with organic carrots and onions. Served with boiled Ayrshire or Jersey Royal new potatoes tossed in butter, oatmeal and finely chopped spring onion or chives and green veg.
Featuring our own curd and presented with Scottish raspberries and Arran ice cream.

Flavours include whisky, chilli, garlic and herb, mustard.
